Governance and Transparency
At HUMANDREAM Foundation, governance is not administrative infrastructure. It is how we hold ourselves accountable to the communities we serve and the partners who place trust in our work. We believe that an organization asking others to be transparent about their operations must be transparent about its own.
How We Are Governed
HUMANDREAM Foundation is a legally registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 39-2867584, operating under a board with active fiduciary oversight. We are building our governance infrastructure with the same intentionality we bring to our programs: carefully, honestly, and with full acknowledgment of where we are in the process.
Our advisory board includes Ruby Guillen, MSW, White House President’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and Co-Chair of the United Nations Association USA Human Rights Affinity Group. Her network connects HUMANDREAM’s work to the UN ECOSOC-accredited global ecosystem spanning 190 countries.
Country and regional boards are planned as our programs deepen in Kenya, the DRC, and California. We will establish them when we have the operational presence and institutional relationships to make them substantively functional rather than nominally complete.
Transparency and Financial Stewardship
We are committed to disclosing our governance framework, leadership structure, and financial information as our organisation grows. Transparency is not a compliance posture for HUMANDREAM; it is a design principle. The governance architecture we are building for circular food systems in the developing world requires that we hold ourselves to the same standard of openness we are asking others to adopt.

We are actively recruiting for our Global Board and Global Advisory Council. We are looking for people who bring development finance expertise, Kenyan institutional knowledge, gender equity leadership, climate governance experience, and the willingness to govern an organization whose mission is to build the infrastructure that connects humanity’s solutions to the people who need them most.
