The HumanDream Foundation proposed partnership with FoodCycle LA to provide strategic grant funding aimed at expanding food recovery efforts across Los Angeles. This collaboration supports FoodCycle LA’s mission to combat food waste and hunger by rescuing surplus food and redirecting it to communities in need. The grant funding from HumanDream Foundation is specifically designed to help FoodCycle LA scale its operations, increase its logistical capacity, and enhance its technological tools—ultimately enabling the recovery of more meals and reducing greenhouse gas emissions citywide. Together, the two organizations are working toward a more sustainable and equitable food system in Los Angeles.
